Scotties Crafts - December Daily

Happy Christmas Eve :)  I am here to share some more pocket scrapbooking with you, this time in the form of my December Daily.  This is an account of the month of December, in the same form as Daily Pocket Scrapbooking but in its own album, focusing on Christmas preparations.  A great album for this would be The Tim Holtz Christmas Wishes album with page protectors to fit.

This is the first page in my December 2013 album.....

I have used Heritage Project Life cards, red and green Cardstock, washi tape and some MME Christmas papers. I also added a few sequins I had in my sewing box.  The December was cut on my cricut using Opposites Attract cartridge and the 2013 is done with gold alphas.  I rounded the corners using an EK success corner rounder and the journalling was done using gold metallic pen

Here are closeups of the 4x6 cards in each pocket...

Thanks so much for joining me for my post today and I wish everyone a Merry and safe Christmas :)  Happy Scrapping.

Scotties Crafts - Pocket Scrapbooking

Hi :) Today I am here with some pocket scrapbooking to share.  I love this way of scrapbooking as it means that I am taking photos of the everyday stuff in our lives and recording it along with the special ones. I am showing you a special one today, my son's school prizegiving...

Here is my working out of cards and layout, so I can sort out where my photos and journaling will be....

Then I count out my white 3x4 and 4x6 cards.

I then cut down my cards to fit on the white cards and put them in the pocket sleeve for safe keeping....

Here is my title card....

and close ups of the others....

I will be posting the reverse side tomorrow.
Thanks for joining me today, happy scrapping :)i, I am joining you

MME Chalk Studio - Thank You card - Scottie Crafts

Hi, I am coming at you today with a card that is totally not my usual style BUT I love it :)  Not my usual style because if you follow my personal blog you will know that my cars always have cute stamped or digistamped images.   This card obviously doesn't and I have to say looks very grown up :)

I started by choosing my papers Chalk Talk, Happy Day & Beautiful Ride and cutting them to size ( my card is 6x6 inches) and mounting them all on white cardstock.  I also separated my doily to use.
I stuck all my papers and doily down how I wanted them and
I then diecut a flourish on my cuttlebug using spellbinders Fantastic Flourish one (S2-010) from white cardstock and layered Prima Lakeside mini roses and Prima Cabriole flowers on top.

I placed a sticker from the MME Chalk Studio line on to balance the card...

I then chose a complementary alpha from my thicker collection to use for the sentiment....

And my last finishing touch was a handmade pennant mini border fastened with a mini stapler.  Easy, cute and effective :)

Thanks loads for joining me today for my Scottie Crafts post, remember they have the twelve days of Christmas promotion running at the moment.  Heaps of awesome bargains.
Happy Scrapping :)
