Shiny, Happy layout for SpiegelMom Scraps

Thanks for joining me today for my SpiegelMom Scraps post :0) Today I am sharing a layout of my sweet girl at the end of her first week at school.

I decided before I chose the rest of my embellishments that I really wanted to use this wooden veneer frame from the Amy Tangerine Stitched collection and turn it into a shaker box.  I added transparency on one side and cut to fit and filled with some SMS sequins before sticking some more transparency to the opposite side.  I stamped after I had glued it but in hindsight it would have been better to stamp before glueing.

I also used this Shimelle wooden Veneer below, again from SpiegelMom Scraps which I painted with gelato to match my gelato painted background....

Here is a close up of my title, Purely because I love the colours and how shiny and sparkly it is.  Also you can see some of the awesomely cute sequins I used....

And last but not least the full layout.  I loved making this and used the gelatos in ways I haven't tried before.  It was a steep learning curve trying lots of new things but also lots of fun.

Thanks so much for dropping by and I would love to know what you think of my more breaking my boundaries layout :)  Remember to use the code Louise10 in the SpiegelMom Scraps Shop to get a 10% discount.

Happy Scrapping, Lou
