Totally Gorjuss with Bizzy Becs

It's the 25th so my turn to share a little bit of Bizzy Becs inspiration with you today.
This time I decided to use a totally gorgeous Gorjuss Girl image called Sweet Tea.

I think these images deserve a bit of frou frou so I added some flowers from my stash and added some lovely scalloped borders using Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Borders Die.
This die set comes with 3 different sized dies so you can adjust the look depending on what you like.
I coloured the image with my copic markers this time as they have been a bit neglected with my new promarker passion.

Thanks so much for dropping by

Cute Little Bunny Stuffies

I had the urge to create a card just because today.
No DT commitments, no orders, no birthdays but just because.

I went through my stamps and decided to use this adorable bunny pile stuffie stamp from Stamping Bella.

I went over to the Stamping Bella blog and they have a colour inspiration challenge...

So this is my take on the colours....

I also used a sketch from Paperplay Sketches.

The papers are "Documentary" by Dear Lizzy
I coloured the image using Copic Markers.

Thanks loads for dropping by today

Baby Shower Invite Made To Order

I advertised my made to order invites on a local facebook page recently and I am proud to say I had my first order a day later.

The lady who ordered them knows she is having a girl and after 4 boys is pretty excited, I know the feeling.
So she really wanted an explosion of pink, which I think I managed to achieve.

The image is one of the print sheets available from Lili of the Valley which I resized and set up in photo shop.
About the most time consuming thing on these was peeling the tape and tying the bows :)

There they are all together.

Thanks loads for dropping by,
Lou

Pretty Ponies EVERYWHERE!

I am so lucky that I have made a fantastic friend in my daughters besties Mum.
It makes both DD and I happy to have such good friends living close.

So DD's bestie and her little sis are both having birthdays next week and are having a combined party, so as part of our pressie I did the invites.
For the last week I have been surrounded by pink and yellow unicorns and Pegasus'
AWESOME!

So here is what I came up with using The Greeting Farm "Magical Friends" polymer stamp set....

I coloured the images with copic markers and used sequins from SPIEGELMOM SCRAPS
The stamps are available from KRAFTERS CART

Cardmaking Fun with My Son

Haha, see what I did up there ;)
Poetry has never been my strong point so I do what I can.

Last night son #2 was away at his besties (do boys even do the besties thing?) home for a sleep over for said friends 10th birthday.

For the besties birthday he received a puppy, obviously not from us.
So my son wanted to make his mate a personalised birthday card.
YAY I have handed my obsessive card making gene onto one of my children at least.
So of course I obliged to help and stamped off Lili of the Valley's Man's Best Friend rubber stamp
for him to colour while I set about doing the base and finding the correct wooden letters.

And that my friends is the finished product, however not the end of the story.

Son #2 decided to put said card somewhere safe so he could "keep it all nice" until the day of the sleepover.  Note to self - NEVER let children put things in a safe place.
It is worse than when I safely store things.
The card has not been seen since the putting away and after tears and sadness we have made another which I didn't have time to snap or have wooden letters for.
I am hoping that the remake was still happily received and the hardwork my son put in recognised by his papercraft un-initiated friend.
We all know how it feels to spend hours on a card and get a "oh yep, thanks" then it is chucked in the wrapping pile.
I will find out after school how it all went and I am crossing fingers that it was superbly.

Thanks for dropping by and may your card making endeavours go better than Son  #2's
