Lawn Fawn Mousey Magic Iris Fun with Bizzy Becs

Hi, I am here with you today to share an interactive card with you.

I have been watching videos and looking at cards made with Lawn Fawn Magic Iris die quite a bit since it was released a while ago.
I had been umming and ahhing over whether to purchase it as it is a fairly high price point and I love stamps!
But curiousity finally got the better of me, and I bought it.
I LOVE IT!!!!!

Once I got over a few teething problems, like my mini glue dots being ancient and non sticky, the iris is so easy and so effective.

Here is the first card I made using the die....

Isn't it cute!!!!

And so easy peasy.

All items used on my card are available by ordering through Bec as a special order.

Items used:
Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Die
Lawn Fawn Magic Messages Stamp set
Lawn Fawn Dandy Day Stamp Set
Lawn Fawn Dandy Day Lawn Cuts
Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words Stamp Set
Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words Lawn Cuts

If you would like to see some more of the magic iris pop over and visit my instagram

Thanks loads for visiting the blog today and I hope I have given you a little inspiration

Return Of Tilda The Pirate

If you follow me on my instagram page you will have seen that I stamped off some of my older images to make some cards with, if not, I stamped off some older images LOL!

One of the images was Pirate Tilda who had been languishing away in a dark drawer for too long.
I coloured her up with copic markers.

I then set about creating the scene.  I used Lawn fawn dies for the clouds and waves.  The scenery elements were stamped from My Favorite Things Party Like a Pirate. Also coloured with copics..

Thanks for popping by blog today and be sure to come back on the 25th for my Bizzy Bec's post :)

Have a great weekend

Lawn Fawn - Sending Big Hugs!

Hi :)
I am here today to share a card I made with Lawn product for Bizzy Bec.
If you go to the store there are currently no items available in stock, however you can email Bec using the contact link to order items.   Bec hasn't listed any lawn Fawn products on the new site yet due to postage delays because of COVID-19

Which brings me to my card.  New Zealand is currently in lockdown doe to the Delta variant getting out into some of our communites.  Guess we were being a little too kind to everyone coming "back home" and let one through with positive results.

Anyway, I feel like there are loads of people out there at the moment alone in their bubbles that could do with a big hug.  I know that when my hubby comes home at night from his essential worker position I certainly need one after a day of dreaded homeschooling GAG!

I coloured the image from "Happy Hugs" with copic markers.
The die is "Giant Sending Big Hugs"

And that is about it, pretty easy, quick card.
Hope you all continue to stay safe,
Hugs

Chasing Butterflies with Bizzy Becs

Hi, here with you today to share a card made with Lawn Fawn products.

Bec has a few products loaded in the shop, and once things are a little more normal with shipping she will be able to get things back in to order.  However if you contact Bec, she will do her best to source available product.

I am a bit sick of the Winter weather we have been having so I decided to make a lovely springy card.  Only 1 month and a bit to go until Spring is here again

I started off by making my background using a cloud stencil and a grass stencil with I inked using distress inks with my blender brushes.

I then added my die cut fence and Avery Elle Happy Birthday Diecut.

I coloured up some images from Lawn Fawn Butterfly kisses stamp set using my markers then fussy cut them and adhered them to my card.

Hope you enjoy my card and get a little inspiration :)

Sending Sunny Vibes with MFT and Bizzy Becs

Hi I am here with you today to share a card made with a  My Favorite Things stamp set.

Bec's has just started to get MFT stamp available through the store, if there is a set you would like
contact her through the store email and she will do her best to get it in for you.

My card is made with the Sunny Vibes set.
This is a great set for making up scenes.

To begin I started with my background using masking and ink blending.
I then stamped the images on a separate piece of cardstock and coloured using alcohol markers.
Once I was done with my colouring I fussy cut my images.  There is a dies set for this set if prefer to die cut your images.
I sorted my placement, glued the pieces down and then added the extra dimension to the
background using a white gel pen and coloured pens.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope I given you a bit of inspiration to try out a scene card

Avery Elle Sending Hugs Card for Bizzy Bec's

Hi, I am here with you today to share a happy 6x6 style card I made for the Bizzy Bec's DT

This is a bit of an eclectic card using all sorts of bits and bobs that came together pretty well in the end.

I used an Avery Elle stamp set called sending hugs and the corresponding die.  This set can be ordered from Bec by special request.
I will be honest and say that I don't usually buy the dies that go with stamp sets as I can usually cut the images out and spend the money on other stamp sets.  In this case though the dies are pretty cool as it allows the envelope in the set to be cut really easily to tuck the little critters inside.

I finished the card with lots of enamel shapes and dots of liquid pearls.
If you look closely you will see that my daughters cat actually walked over the card while it was drying but I thought it didn't look too bad and wasn't totally noticeable.

I coloured the image with my cheapy watercolour set, unfortunately the ink on the image disappeared so I restamped using stazon on the critters so the details showed.

thanks for popping by today and reminder that we are looking for a few DT members at Bizzy Becs
Have a great day

sewing with lou

So this weekend I did a bit of sewing.   I was seriously sick of the shorts I buy for my daughter making her look like a little hoochie mumma.   I found a pattern in my stash a set to resizing it as it was a child's size 4 and I needed a girls 12.   I ended up making the legs a bit wide but overall pretty happy with the outcome.
