Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown - Holly Jolly

Hi, I am here with you today with another card share for the Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown.

I have used another KaiserCraft Collection for this card, Holly Jolly, full of red & green and black and kraft, this collection is a little more contemporary.

I have used a digital image from The East Wind and is called Dear Santa.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers.
The papers have been inked on the edges with distress inks in Cracked Pistachio and Fired Brick with an ink blending tool.

I diecut was cut on my silhouette cameo and it was my first time cutting with a shadow, it has taken me ages to work out how, thank goodness for youtube!

That's all from me today, thanks for dropping by,
Lou

Home For Christmas With Artfull Crafts

The Christmas Countdown has begun at Artfull Crafts, each week has a different theme and the Design Team will be bringing you loads of inspiration for your Christmas crafts pretty much every day so be sure to check it out.

It is my turn today with a card made with KaiserCrafts Home for Christmas collection.  I have used papers from the 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad and a tag from the same collection

I added a gorgeous sheer red polka dot ribbon  and tied the tag around the bow, I then added dots around the layers showing with liquid pearls in White Opal and Ruby Red.  I cut some leaf flourish corners with a die on my cuttlebug.

The image, Rory's Reindeer, is coloured with Copic Alcohol Markers.

Thanks so much for dropping by and I hope you enjoy all the inspiration on the Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown.

Christmas Cuteness With SpiegelMom Scraps

Only 40 days until Christmas my lovelies  :)  All a bit scary really, however as always I have the kids Christmas pressies well in hand and only have hubby, my brother and my Ma & Pa to shop for and since I already know that I am getting hubs a drill that take SOOOOOO much pressure off.

Which leaves me time to indulge in making cute Christmas crafts like this super sweet tag made using goodies from SpiegelMom Scraps Etsy store.

I started by coating a large tag with modge podge and sticking down my patterned paper, once it was dry, aided with a heat gun, I added stars with a stencil and the very lush Dazzlers paint in Foiled again. Once the stars were dry I inked the edges with some distress ink and then added my half doily ( I use these all the time, in fact I could almost say that doilys are my fave embellie) which I glued down with modge podge again to make it look kind of decoupagey.  I then added the image which is from All Dressed up Stamps and part of a set called 3 Christmas girls.
The stamp was stamped with stazon and then I added the gold sequins.
I think it turned out pretty darn cute :)
Thanks loads for visiting and I hope I have inspired you to make a start on your Christmas crafts if you haven't already.
Remeber you can yuse the code Louise15 in the SpiegelMom Scraps Store for a discount.

Total Summer Fun With SpiegelMom Scraps

It almost feels like Summer here today so what better way to celebrate my favourite season of the year than with a cute card :)

I have coloured the image, which is by Whimsy and Stars who I think only does colouring books now???
I coloured my image using Spectrum Noir markers.

I have used a doily, Green Chevron Washi tape and Gold and Varsity Sequins from SpiegelMom Scrap Etsy Shop.

The papers are from a 6x6 pad by Carta Bella called It's a Celebration.

Thanks loads for joining me today and I hope it is enjoyable weather where you are today :)

Have you ever thought it would be awesome to be part of the Design Team at SGC?
Are you from Australia or New Zealand?
Do you love creating with paper?

We are looking for some fresh faces on our DT due to some of our ladies stepping down at the end of this year.

The term would start in January, we would like the applicants to commit to Southern Girls for a year, which may sound like a long time but isn't considering all our current DT have been with us for a year or more, some since we started :)

The team is split into 2 groups which means 1 project per month.

We correspond on facebook so you would need to have a facebook account and a blog which you can post the challenges and your projects to.

If you would like to apply to be an SGC lovely please email us a couple of samples of your work, tell us a bit about yourself and please include your blog link to
southerngirlschallenges@gmail.com

Welook forward to hearing from you and the call will finish when we have found our new members,
