SGC - Going Spotty Dot

Hope this post finds you all well and enjoying life wherever you my be :)  It is time for another challenge at Southern Girls and this fortnight we would like to see Spots & Dots on your projects.
Here is my layout for the current challenge...........

I followed the last CSIColourInspirations challenge for this layout and since I had been so slack and not finished my project for SGC I used it as it contains loads of dots :)  I used my dear lizzy that I found in the bargain bin at warehouse stationary, not sure which collection it is but I am sure it has been around for a while.  the title is done in 2 different styles of thickers and I used some sequins, paint and flowers from my stash. The pearls are all from retail girl on Trade Me, go and check her out, her stuff is AWESOME.

I am entering this layout in the following Challenges........

Challenges for Everybody - Anything Goes
Pin & Tack - Anything Goes

The Paper Shelter - Show the Love

This week at The Paper Shelter we would love to see love themes on your cards.  I have used a new digi from TPS called The Cutest Date.  I used one of my bargain MME I picked up for five bucks at the warewhare last week.  The sticker cluster in the corner are from a Dear Lizzy collection I found in Warehouse Stationary in the reduced to clear bin whoop whoop, their mistake my score.lol.
Here is my card.......

I coloured my image with my copics for a change.  I haven't added a sentiment as I will put it with my pile to sell in town and someone can use it for what they want to.

Thanks for looking, hope you will play along with us at the challenge :)

Goodbye Rosie Posie :(

I had a horrendous phone call this morning.... One of the ladies from the vets where I take the cats rang at about 7.30.  She told me that there was a small cat runover on the road at the end of our drive.  I was so shocked, I went down in my PJs but I couldn't see anything.  Then it occurred to me that Hubby had left and come back earlier when he went to work.  I rang him and he confirmed that it was my Rosie and he had bought her up and buried her with Lagwagon.  I am so devastated, I am bawling my eyes out while I type,  I can't even look at the other cat Millie.  Rosie was awesome and I will miss her loads :(  Really sad that she didn't even reach 1 year old.

EDITED TO ADD - I am a little calmer now, although still really sad.  She was my favourite of our 2 cats and very much my cat.  Not very friendly towards anyone else but me and she would often come in an snuggle up with me when I was watching TV at night.  I will miss her slinky, streamlined little body wrapping herself around my legs while I hang out the washing, also her silly little foot fetish but mostly just her.  Hubby thought it would have definitely been instant so I guess that is something.  I am glad I didn't find her, that would have been too hard to deal with I think.
