Mastering The Rollover Layout

Hi lovely blog readers :)  I am here today to share a layout with you featuring this months The Stamp Spot "AUGUST CHALENGE SPOTS"....

Let's see if you can spot them (excuse the incredibly bad pun which is not intentional)

I would have to say that of my babies, Will is definitely the most eager to smile for the camera so far.  A scrapbooking Mummy's dream :)

You only have a week or so left to enter this months "Spot Challenge"  and I have to say this one has been the easiest month yet.  We would love to see your interpretation.

My what big eyes you have layout

Hi, here with you today to share a layout with some summery colours to inspire winter to LEAVE NOW ;)

I have made up this layout with papers from a 6x6 pad, just to show that you certainly don't need to go out and specifically buy scrap supplies if scrapbooking is something you would like to try.

Here is my layout..........

I used my sewing machine to get the papers to stay in place.  I used AC Thickers for the main title and tiny type for the subtitle.  I cut up a journaling card that didn't suit and added washi tape to make it cohesive with colours in the layout.  I used some pre-made flags but they are so easy to make with paper and a toothpick you really don't need to buy pre-made ones.  I also used a flair badge, these are everywhere at the moment and I am totally in love with them.   That is it really, a very quick and easy layout to make so thanks for looking, have a great weekend :)

The Stamp Spot - Channelling Jackie Layout

I have a layout to share with you today using this month "CHALLENGE SPOTS"  from THE STAMP SPOT which are......

So here is my layout which I used some fabulous MTF dienamics on

The layout is my daughter wearing my sunnies and being a poser at all of 2 years old :) I seriously wonder about her sometimes, she can be such a girly girl and then next thing be racing her brothers hotwheels cars and wrestling.  Anyway I thought the glasses were reminiscent of the fabulous Jackie Kennedy Onassis so hence the title.  I used a sketch from SKETCHABILITIES  for the layout.

Here is a closeup of one of the flower clusters.  The papers are Graphic 45 and the title was done with cosmo cricket tiny type stickers and AC Thickers.

Thanks loads for looking and I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.

Scapping on a Sunday

Hi, here with you today to share a layout using our The Stamp Spot March "Spots"......

We went to visit my brother and sister in law last month and my hubby and brother took the children over to the private beach (how cool is that?) to play and Andrew took some photos. I have scrapped some on this layout.

I love how this came together, and the patterns really suit a summer day spent at the beach. I used a selection of roses and then hand made some flowers using circle punches and brads. I have used a punch along the bottom of the blue paper to add interest. I have use quite a bit of mist on my layout to give it a shimmery, summery feel.

Hope you all out there have managed to get at least one day in at the beach this sad old (weatherwsie) summer

The 2 of U Layout

A quick and late post from me today as I have a very sick baby that I am monitoring hourly......

I love this photo of my boys in one of their loving moments :) they don't happen often so I am glad I caught it on camera.  I wanted to keep the photo as the focus so made it large and the focus of the layout.

I have used kraft, brown and blue cardstock, patterned paper, cricut personal cutter, punches, buttons, gems, Pretty Little Studio journaling card and Opposites Attract cricut cartridge.

Don't forget the sketch challenge is still running and boy are there some exciting things happening with the challenge next month :)

Everyday Layout.........

I am pretty excited as this is my first post for The Stamp Spot, I will get on with it....
I have recently decided that I need to scrap more about the everyday stuff in our lives, the things my kids enjoy,   routines around our home etc so that it is not just the events that are documented.  This layout is about my daughter and her love of drawing, just a little thing that she does most days but she may not later on when she gets older.
I have used Kraft cardstock for my base and inked the edges with a pink inkpad, the papers are echopark which I cut to size to provide a mat for the photos the journaling tag has been filled out with a font from my computer and printed on using using photoshop.  I put twine under the title to add a little interest, I glued it with fabric glue as it dries clear and you can hardly see the glue line.

Thanks for looking and I hope you will join in our sketch challenge  which is running for the month of February :)

yay yay yay, I am a bit excited........

I have made the team over at THE STAMP SPOT.  That means you will be seeing more scrapbooking on my blog as I am on the scrapbooking team.  I am a bit blown away as I have never considered my scrapbooking very good at all, just dabbling really and doing it for my famdangle.  I don't usually share my layouts on here, but I will be from now on, so here are the first of many to come.........
