I need some inspiration for a design - I already had my boysy scraptastic kit on my desk so I popped over to Once Upon a Sketch to see what they had going on this month and found an awesome sketch, I knew I would.
So I got to work and here is what I ended up with....

I started with white bazzil cardstock which I sprayed with Mister Hueys Honour Society using a hexagon stencil then sprayed again with Mister Hueys Silver. I then cut strips from a couple of patterned papers to do my layers. I then started choosing my embellishments. The chipboard stickers are Simple Stories daily grind and the veneers are exclusive to the kit I think. The flair is out of my stash but I am pretty sure I got it from The Paper Doll Company. I wrote 6 on it with a DVD marker. The letters for my title are Vera Thickers in Sunflower.

Love it Lou! Especially how you created your background! I bought some stencils a while back, now I need to get them inky lol!

ReplyDeleteLove this scrap layout Lou. Your boy is too cute with his happy gappy smile! Just back from a few days in Taupo, totally missed your candy! Have some to out up myself, will do soon. Hope you're well and not being rained out. No beach trip up North as planned due to rain damage, we were supposed to be heading up to Kaeo, where all the rain damage has occurred! So will be around this week after all x
