October is a pretty busy Birthday month around here.
We have our oldest and youngest's birthdays plus my dad who celebrated 80 years on the planet last week. It was lovely to see one of my brothers who visited from Australia for 10 days. It was cool hanging out with him and getting a few things done around our parents together.
But way back at the beginning of the month we had a pirate party, complete with a pirate ship cake. Which was no easy task to make.
I am learning that as long as the cake looks somewhere along the lines of what they want and had lots of lollies on it the kids will be happy.
To go with the pirate theme I came up with a pirate card....

I used the Ahoy Matey stamp set by Lawn Fawn, available from Bizzy Bec's Online store.
I cut the circle with a basic circle die and set some hand cut waves behind behind along with the boat.
The images are coloured with copics.
