A Pretty Little Thank You

This time next week I will be taking it easy recuperating after 2 surgeries on Friday, and I can't wait!  I am looking forward to feeling healthy again and knowing what each day is going to bring :)

I have been pottering today and made this card in my interpretation of Shabby Chic.  I am pretty unhappy with how my colouring turned out and I am definitely going back to colouring with my pencils on watercolour paper.  The image I have used is Thank You from Saturated Canary.  I copied POPS a little on this card as she does these really cool dots around her images with Liquid Pearls, I gave it a go but probably should have known better considering what a klutz I am, lets just say I had a major blob problem that had to be fixed then managed to get the image stuck to my elbow, arghhhhh.  It does look cool though and I will give this another go when my desk is less cluttered.

I used "Let Them Have Cake" papers from Raspberry Road and distressed with Jo Sonja Opal Dust and Picket Fence Distress Paint.  I have used a Marianne Design's die to cut the swirls under my flowers and a spellbinders die for the image and mat.

I am entering this in the following challenges......

Crafts and Me Challenges - Roses and Pearls
Crafty Anne's Challenge - It's a Girl Thing
Emergency Crafter's - Butterflies or things with Wings
Stampin for the Weekend - Bugs and butterflies
Stampin with the Dragon - Anything Goes

Thanks loads for calling by :)
