Crawl Layout Revisited

Ok, so a couple of weeks ago over a Red Carpet Studio the challenge was to make a layout with NO WORDS, for my DT obligation I made a layout of Will and his first time crawling.  BUT everytime I went near his album it bugged the s#$t out of me that it had no title or date or anything, wah.   So I have had a remodel and I am now loads happier :)  So here is the new and improved version......

The papers are from Kaiser Craft, the cardstock is Bazzil, Thickers for the title, washi tape, flag from Basic Grey (I think?) star cut on my cricut using George & basic shapes and a spellbinders packet, flair button from Evalicious.

I am entering this layout in the Challenge Me Happy challenge - make your own embellishment.  I hope it counts as an entry as when I saw what their challenge was I made sure that the remodel had a DIY embellie, but if not nevermind :)

And there you have it, I am loads happier as I now feel like my layout is complete.

  2. Looks even better! I did the same thing, met my obligation and then went back and added some words! It's just not a layout to me if it doesn't tell the story.

  6. Such an adorable layout! Will looks raring to go! The fun banners you made and the choices of paper are perfect for it. The ziggag on the paper reminds me of crawling. (Love your new banner, fun color and bows!)

  8. I am so glad that I am not the only person who will deconstruct an otherwise finished layout if its just not quite doing it for me! You have created a beauty, this is awesome! I never would have thought to use the Kaiser paper like this, it looks terrific xx

  9. I like it a lot better with the words. I don't think there's anything wrong with making it to suit the challenge and then adding what you want later.
