Gnomely Folling Around with Bizzy Becs

I have had this super cute set from Lawn Fawn OH GNOME for a little while but only had a chance to ink it up over the weekend.

It is really versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
I made this card for a friend at bootcamp :)

I coloured up the images with alcohol markers.
The grass is cut using grassy hillside borders die
the clouds were cut using a die similar to Taylored Expressions cloud die

Hope my card has inspired you

Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello, is there anybody out there?

I have been so long posting anything on here, and when I have it has been VERY sporadic, so I really hope that there are still some people reading my blog.
It has been a pretty full on football season here with my kids but that is all over now as we head into Spring.

Over at the SGC BLOG our challenge for this fortnight is Anything Goes.
We are being sponsored by Lia Stamps and I Am Roses.

On my card I have used the Woodland set from Lia Stamps.
I did some image merging in photoshop to create the fox scene.  It had been a while since I had attempted that and I had pretty much forgotten how to do it but with perseverance I got there in the end.

I used my go to sketch for 6x6 cards and some papers from my stash.
The ribbon is a really old SU one from my demo days.
I coloured the image with copics.
The grass is cut with Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Grassy hillside borders.

Thanks to those of you still visiting xx

Dragon Fun with my Silhouette Cameo

Hi
I have a post scheduled for tomorrow explaining my long absence from here, but in the meantime I wanted to share this card I made for my youngest son on his 8th birthday.

I made a template on silhouette studio and cut it on my NEW cameo.  To be fair it is a second hand V1 but new to me and I love it.
I saved the template to use again so this design will pop up again down the track.

I have used Stamping Bella Set of Dragons for this card and coloured them with copic markers. The colouring is pretty rough but I was in the zone so wanted to get it done and dusted before I got distracted by real life.

I have ordered a pixscan mat to go with the cameo so I am looking forward to having a play with that .
I will let you know how I get on.  I do miss the portrait for the ease of having it on my desk ready to go but once I start to play with 12x12 cuts I am sure I wont regret selling it to upgrade.

Thanks for dropping by,  I promise to post more from now on
Lou

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges...
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Anything Goes
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - Anything Goes

Spring is in the Air at Southern Girls

CRIPES!!!!
I honestly didn't realise it had been so long since I have posted to my blog.  I need to up my game in a serious way.

This fortnight at the Southern Girls we want to see all things Spring on your wonderful projects.

I am sharing an older layout of my two big boys at the school pet day a few years ago.
I thought this was pretty appropriate as we are now rearing 4 lambs.
Pancake, Sparkle, Storm and Lucky.
I will share pictures of them soon.

Thanks for dropping by :)

Unicorn Birthday Wishes with Bizzy Becs

HI, here with you today to share a cute, quick and easy birthday card with you.
This card is really easy to make and can be changed up easily depending on the occasion or recipient.

All you need to do is cut out 2 pieces of white card to card front size.
Using a punch add circles to one of the pieces of card. Mark the circles on the second piece and stamp your image so they are centered inside where the window will be.
Colour up the image with your prefered medium.  Once coloured attach the top piece to the card using tape.
Add your sentiment
and embellies and you are done.
Items used from the shop...

Girl power with The Paper Shelter

This week over at The Paper Shelter Challenge we want to see
GIRL POWER!

There are so many awesome images to choose.
It was really hard for me to pick a favourite this week but  finally settled on Cute Cave Girl

I used the precoloured image this week as I was running short on time due to major computer problems.
Do not let your children play games on your computer is all I can say!
I cut the background paper with the paw prints and leaves on my silhouette portrait and the grass is a lawn fawn die cut.

Thanks for dropping by my blog
