Gnomely Folling Around with Bizzy Becs

I have had this super cute set from Lawn Fawn OH GNOME for a little while but only had a chance to ink it up over the weekend.

It is really versatile and can be used for so many different occasions.
I made this card for a friend at bootcamp :)

I coloured up the images with alcohol markers.
The grass is cut using grassy hillside borders die
the clouds were cut using a die similar to Taylored Expressions cloud die

Hope my card has inspired you

Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello, is there anybody out there?

I have been so long posting anything on here, and when I have it has been VERY sporadic, so I really hope that there are still some people reading my blog.
It has been a pretty full on football season here with my kids but that is all over now as we head into Spring.

Over at the SGC BLOG our challenge for this fortnight is Anything Goes.
We are being sponsored by Lia Stamps and I Am Roses.

On my card I have used the Woodland set from Lia Stamps.
I did some image merging in photoshop to create the fox scene.  It had been a while since I had attempted that and I had pretty much forgotten how to do it but with perseverance I got there in the end.

I used my go to sketch for 6x6 cards and some papers from my stash.
The ribbon is a really old SU one from my demo days.
I coloured the image with copics.
The grass is cut with Lawn Fawn Lawn Cuts Grassy hillside borders.

Thanks to those of you still visiting xx

Dragon Fun with my Silhouette Cameo

Hi
I have a post scheduled for tomorrow explaining my long absence from here, but in the meantime I wanted to share this card I made for my youngest son on his 8th birthday.

I made a template on silhouette studio and cut it on my NEW cameo.  To be fair it is a second hand V1 but new to me and I love it.
I saved the template to use again so this design will pop up again down the track.

I have used Stamping Bella Set of Dragons for this card and coloured them with copic markers. The colouring is pretty rough but I was in the zone so wanted to get it done and dusted before I got distracted by real life.

I have ordered a pixscan mat to go with the cameo so I am looking forward to having a play with that .
I will let you know how I get on.  I do miss the portrait for the ease of having it on my desk ready to go but once I start to play with 12x12 cuts I am sure I wont regret selling it to upgrade.

Thanks for dropping by,  I promise to post more from now on

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges...

Spring is in the Air at Southern Girls

CRIPES!!!!
I honestly didn't realise it had been so long since I have posted to my blog.  I need to up my game in a serious way.

This fortnight at the Southern Girls we want to see all things Spring on your wonderful projects.

I am sharing an older layout of my two big boys at the school pet day a few years ago.
I thought this was pretty appropriate as we are now rearing 4 lambs.
Pancake, Sparkle, Storm and Lucky.
I will share pictures of them soon.

Thanks for dropping by :)

Unicorn Birthday Wishes with Bizzy Becs

HI, here with you today to share a cute, quick and easy birthday card with you.
This card is really easy to make and can be changed up easily depending on the occasion or recipient.

All you need to do is cut out 2 pieces of white card to card front size.
Using a punch add circles to one of the pieces of card. Mark the circles on the second piece and stamp your image so they are centered inside where the window will be.
Colour up the image with your prefered medium.  Once coloured attach the top piece to the card using tape.
Add your sentiment
and embellies and you are done.

Girl power with The Paper Shelter

This week over at The Paper Shelter Challenge we want to see
GIRL POWER!

There are so many awesome images to choose.
It was really hard for me to pick a favourite this week but  finally settled on Cute Cave Girl

I used the precoloured image this week as I was running short on time due to major computer problems.
Do not let your children play games on your computer is all I can say!
I cut the background paper with the paw prints and leaves on my silhouette portrait and the grass is a lawn fawn die cut.

Thanks for dropping by my blog

Waffling Along, Singing A Song.... With Bizzy Bec's

HI!!!!
I am here with you today to share some Waffle Flower Stamps cuteness with you.

I decided to make a bit of a scene (lol, get it) with Happy Day stamp set.
I have been eyeing up this set for ages and I was was so excited to get my hands on it for Christmas.

I started by sponging colour on my base card with coloured ink.
I then stamped the wagon and bear with memento Tuxedo black ink onto white spectrum noir cardstock which I fussy cut.

I coloured the images with prisma pencils (need practice)
I stuck the images down and stamped and coloured the butterfly and the bee.
the grass layer was cut using Lawn Fawn grass border die and the clouds are Impression obsessions clouds.
I then stuck down all my layers and there you have it,
me making a scene ;)

Hope my card inspires you to make a scene of your own

So Beary Sweet

I have signed up for the Krafty Klub at Kraftin Kimmie's.
It is a monthly kit made up of a new release stamp, new stencil, new ink colour and a few other goodies.
You don't have to buy every month but if you buy one month you get first dibs on the kit for the next month as there are limited spaces.

So in the January kit was the Beary Love stamp set.
It is pretty cute I have to say :)

I used the stamp set, ink pad  and the stencil included in the Jan kit to make my card...

The little bear is coloured with Copic Markers
I added some sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps.

Thanks so much for joining me today

Positively Radiant with Bizzy Becs

Hi am here today to share my card for Bizzy Becs
I made this card for a class I am doing next month.  It is one of 2 watercolour cards we will be doing.
I stamped the image onto watercolour paper using versamark and then heat embossed it using black embossing powder.  That way it is super easy stay in the lines :)
My paint set is a super cheap kids pallette one, but seriously it is just fine for cards.  Particularly as I am not any sort of watercolour artist.

The products I used are listed below and I really hope you give this a try as it is super therapeutic!

The Paper Shelter New Beginnings

The Paper Shelter team are back from our Christmas break ready to jump back into the challenges.
Our first challenge of the year is New Beginnings.

I decided to make a baby card, I wanted to add a silhouette "congratulations" cut but I never received my new blade I ordered before Christmas, grrrr.  That has now gone to PayPal complaints to be sorted.

So my card has no sentiment but will eventually...

I used an older image which I didn't realise was now unavailable.

You could win a $30 voucher, however this will only be given if you have used one of our products on your card which could be either an Image, Paper or Printable. But, even if you haven't used an item from The Paper Shelter and you are picked as a winner you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice so I'm sure you will agree that it's still worth taking part in our challenge.
